SHIP LOADING SYSTEMS / DRIVE OVER UNITS

Daytech Tubulators offer a low friction fast efficient, contained, self cleaning and self loading system that is easy on product. It can be used to move grain, seeds, fertilisers, palm kernel, cement, pellets. onions, flour, small vegetables, wood chips, wood shavings and any other non abrasive products.

Daytech can design and build transportable loading systems to be carried on board ships. To reduce loading costs, down time, crane hireage etc, these can consist of truck drive over units. Wheeled wharf mounted tube conveyors made to customer capacity requirements. Ship mounted tube conveyor systems are also available. These can either be hung off cranes or independently mounted units. The units can be run off the ships power source or fitted with their own petrol or diesel motors. The inclosed plastic tube design enables product to be moved in all weathers and help to contain dust etc. Drive over units can be built for either one or two trucks and coupled to the tubulator hydraulic system with hydraulic speed control. These units also have hydraulic over centre locking wheels and drawbar and can be towed and set up in position ready for use. Detachable ramps are supplied with fork lift channels and can be easily fitted to the drive over attachment points. Drive over ramps are stacked in lifting frames with fork lift channels for manoeuverability and with a cental lifting eye for crane hooks. Different configurations in drive over systems are available. Drive over and wharf mounted tubulators are lightweight but very robust, this enables them to be loaded on board by the ships crane and stowed. All units come complete with their own hydraulic wheel system, simple hassle free belt tensioning system. The wear resistant plastic tube design stops corrosion of the tube therefore eliminating contamination of the products and longer belt life.
